Reworked Denim like never Before with ANDAGAIN
AndAgain caught our attention when Greg walked into a coffee shop, wearing a fabulous denim jacket from the artist collab collection.
The truth is, when an AndAgain piece is present, it draws your in.
Fresh transplants from Philadelphia to New York City, design duo Morgan and Greg met in the University of Delaware where they quickly developed a vision to start a brand producing sustainable denim made in the USA. These two have a quirky yet distinctly stylish vibe visible through their work and felt through their energy and it's clear they are a great team.
These young designers seek meaningful collaborations and partner with a different artist each month, like Amber Vittoria’s colorful embroidery (@amber_vittoria) on bomber jackets and Sarah Nisbett aka @drawnontheway’s illustrations on their jeans. From minimal to edgy, AndAgain offers a little bit of everything on the spectrum. We totally get why Nylon magazine calls it “a sustainable denim brand you’ll want to shop.”
So how is AndAgain sustainable?
The secret lies in their design and production process. Their process is incredibly unique as they take only recycled denim and dead stock fabrics to create “unique and contemporary designs for the fashion forward.” Utilizing that favorite pair of jeans that is essential but giving it a new life through redesign and some additional deadstock fabric.
Denim production is amongst the biggest problem of the fashion industry as it costs 3,000 litres of water to create just one pair while the average customer purchases four pairs a year. AndAgain designers Morgan and Greg are in the midst of living the new American dream as they work effortlessly to make it in New York fighting for what they believe in through sustainable fashion. And if more designers and individuals are willing to take a risk like these designers, and invest in something they believe in, we at Pildora believe that together we will make a difference. That’s our dream for an evolution in fashion.
